Minneapolis St.Paul Airport, MSP

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is the largest and busiest airport in the five-state upper Midwestern region of Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.

In terms of passengers, Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP) is the twelfth busiest airport in the United States, and twenty-sixth busiest airport in the world. A joint civil-military airport, MSP is also home to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Joint Air Reserve Station, supporting both Air Force Reserve Command and Air National Guard flight operations.

Airlines out of Minneapolis St. Paul airport serve 131 nonstop markets from MSP, including 116 domestic and 14 international markets. Compared to other metropolitan areas in the United States, only Denver serves slightly more non-stop markets per capita.

It is the largest airport for Northwest Airlines (which is now a part of Delta Air Lines), Northwest Airlink partners Compass Airlines, Mesaba Airlines, and Pinnacle Airlines, in terms of passengers carried and revenues. The airport is Northwest Airlines busiest hub overall. It also serves as the hub for Sun Country Airlines.
